ORDERING

How much notice we need

For orders of cupcakes, we require at least a week’s notice.

For single-tiered cakes and birthday cakes, we require two weeks’ notice.

For wedding cakes and tiered cakes, we need at least five weeks’ notice – but the more notice you give us, the better.

Placing your order

To place your order, please e-mail us at info@sweetbeasbakery.com, In your e-mail, please provide the following information:

  1. What you want to order, including size, shape, numbers and any special requirements (the more information you give us, the more we like it! So where you want a special bespoke order, we would welcome photos, sketches, illustrations etc.)
  2. The date you would like to receive your order
  3. Whether you would like to collect your order, or would like us to deliver it (if you would like us to deliver your order, please provide your exact address, including post-code)

How to pay

Cupcakes, Cake-Pops and Single-Tiered Cakes – please pay the full balance when you place your order.

Tiered Cakes or Celebration Cakes – a non-refundable deposit of £200 is required when you place your order. The balance is due 1 month before delivery or collection of the cake.

We accept payment by:

  • Cheque (cheques need time to clear, so please allow for this when placing your order)
  • BACS transfer (our preferred payment method)
  • PayPal. This is an online Credit Card and Debit Card payment system. You do not need a PayPal account to use this payment method. We can invoice you directly, and you can then go on to PayPal’s ‘Pay’ section, as you would for any online payment method. There is a 3.4% payment fee if you pay via PayPal.
  • Cash (deliverable in person)

Currently we do not have the facilities to take card payments by telephone.

Delivery and collection

Cupcake delivery and Single-Tiered Cake delivery - starts at £12 within central London.

Tiered Cake delivery - £45 in central London. Delivery charges for other destinations are available on request.

If you would like us to deliver your Tiered Cake, we will liaise with the banqueting team at your venue with regard to correct placing and set-up of the cake.

Pick up disclaimer:

All orders can be picked up from our base in north London. Pleases note that if you pick up the cake, you are fully responsible for its safety, and Sweet Bea’s will not be responsible for any damage to the cake that may occur after it has been collected.

Design alterations

Design alterations can be made up to (but no later than) two weeks before collection/delivery. If the alterations affect the cost of your order, the balance payable will be adjusted accordingly.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your order for any reason, your deposit is non-refundable. If your order is cancelled less than 21 days from the designated event date, you will receive as refund of 25% of the total cost.
